Our Packing Hall is based at the farm where fruit can be quality-controlled, rapid chilled, packed and stored prior to dispatch.

We have experience packing for all of the UK’s major food retailers including M&S, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury’s, ALDI, and LIDL. Our BRCGS Grade AA certified facilities and production process operates to the Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.

Dundee Cold Stores Ltd is Scotland’s largest large-scale frozen fruit and vegetable processing plant. Peas and beans continue to make up the majority of the plant’s capacity, however broccoli, meat, fish and soft fruits can also be safely stored.

• 3 processing lines
• 16,000 pallet capacity
• Safe storage at optimal -18°C

Our freeze drying facility is based at the farm where produce can be freeze dried and bulk packed.

Facilities:

• BRCGS grade AA accreditation
• Freezing Storage
• Freeze Dryer
• Slicer / Dicer Machine
• Packaging and Packing Area

The entire production process operates to the same HACCP system as our fresh produce Packing Hall. We can develop recipes for your product and extend shelf life through freeze dying without using any additives or preservatives. The sublimation process removes moisture without damaging product.
